Apple Valley Waste is seeking a Driver - Residential Trash in Charles Town, WV. This full‑time CDL position involves operating a rear‑load garbage truck on residential routes, with responsibility for safe, efficient collection and adherence to route schedules.

The role requires a valid Class A or B CDL with a DOT medical certificate, the ability to lift 70 lbs, and capability to perform pre/post‑trip inspections. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with a current DOT medical certificate.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and climb in/out of the truck.
• Ability to perform pre- and post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear-load garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste in residential areas.
• Lift and carry objects up to 70 lbs and perform necessary manual tasks.
• Read route sheets and service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
• Maintain a consistent, year‑round schedule with typical Mon–Fri hours (occasional Sat as needed).
• Perform basic hydraulic operations and routine truck inspections.
