Job summary

The J.R. Simplot Company in Burlington, CO is seeking an Operations Support 3 (DOT Driver) to transport fertilizers and chemicals to customer locations under DOT regulations. The role includes preventive maintenance, blending, and warehouse tasks to support agronomic service delivery.

Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles/Triples endorsements, lift up to 50 lbs, and be available for early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays on a seasonal basis.

Qualifications

• DOT driver responsibilities and compliance with safety regulations.
• Valid Class A CDL required by hire.
• Endorsements at hire: Hazmat, Tanker, Doubles/Triples.
• Ability to lift 50 lb.
• Willing to work agribusiness hours: early mornings, late evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver fertilizers and chemicals to customers in compliance with safety and transport regulations
• Operate equipment to blend fertilizer accurately
• Receive, unload, and organize inbound shipments; maintain warehouse inventory
• Conduct maintenance and housekeeping of plant equipment and facilities
• Support special projects and cross-functional backup as required
