Purpose And Summary Statement

Operates and maintains single, tandem or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for delivery/pick-up of agronomy/energy products following specified time schedules to/from the company locations or customer locations to achieve profitable business growth.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operates and maintains all assigned vehicles, including trucks of various configurations and forklifts, in accordance with safety standards and proper vehicle operation techniques.
2. Performs and records daily safety checks of assigned vehicle(s) and equipment, including pre-trip inspections, fuel and oil levels, tires, lights, and brakes. Follows preventative maintenance programs and maintains a clean truck for a professional appearance.
3. Loads and unloads trucks according to company policies and DOT regulations.
4. Ensures all deliveries, pickups, and documentation meet company standards.

Other Job Functions

1. Maintains company equipment per standards, adheres to policies, and maintains a professional image.
2. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and demonstrates FS Way Standards: Trust, Responsiveness, Excellence, Expertise, and Solution Focused.
3. Performs basic shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Demonstrates business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
3. Possesses or can obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a satisfactory driving record.
4. Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Working Conditions

1. Occasional exposure to extreme weather, noisy conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and varying heights.
2. Ability to move up to 100 lbs.
3. Participation in required safety and training programs.
