Swing Shift: 1:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Tuesday - Friday)

Rate of Pay: $28.41/Hour

Position Summary

The CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting various materials, including palletized products and raw materials, to and from multiple facilities. The role also involves order picking and supporting special projects. The position requires the safe operation of various vehicles and equipment such as semi-trucks, trailers, bobtail trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks. When not transferring materials, the incumbent will support on-site material handling and related tasks.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Operate tractors, trailers, and material handling equipment for transferring products within production areas and off-site storage locations.
2. Ensure proper receipt, storage, picking, transfer, and delivery of materials in different storage conditions, with accurate paperwork. Some out-of-town transportation may be required.
3. Maintain compliance with Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) regulations and other local and state laws.
4. Provide excellent customer service and develop professional relationships with internal and external customers.
5. Participate actively in safety initiatives, comply with safety and Good Manufacturing Practices, and maintain a safe work environment.
6. Monitor transportation equipment health and address issues or escalate as needed.
7. Manage production materials before and during production runs, and return unused materials appropriately.
8. Follow warehouse FIFO procedures and standard operating protocols.
9. Organize and manage waste and recycling materials properly.
10. Pre-stage and consolidate materials on pallets for production and storage needs.
11. Maintain, clean, and organize warehouses and workspaces to meet standards.
12. Load and unload pallets of finished goods and materials from trailers and storage areas.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Pre-employment screening includes a DOT drug test, background check, and medical certification.
