Job summary

Wright Block & Brick in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a dependable Driver to join our team. This position delivers masonry and landscape products to residential and commercial job sites while operating a 10-wheel straight truck and using a Moffett forklift to unload at delivery locations.

You will inspect vehicles, secure loads per DOT regulations, and communicate with customers to ensure timely deliveries. CDL required; forklift/Moffett experience preferred; clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
• Prior forklift experience required; Moffett experience strongly preferred.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle masonry and landscape products as required.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company straight truck to transport products to customer job sites.
• Operate a Moffett or forklift to load, unload, and place materials safely and efficiently.
• Deliver products to residential neighborhoods, commercial projects, and contractor job sites.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after each shift and report any maintenance concerns.
• Secure loads properly and comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and general yard duties as needed.
