Job summary

Zeeland Lumber & Supply, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I based in Michigan. The role involves safe transportation of lumber and building materials to construction sites and storage locations, with pre/post-trip inspections and strict DOT log compliance.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, ensuring delivery accuracy, maintaining professional customer interactions, and supporting warehouse tasks as needed. A valid Class A or B CDL is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Delivers to active construction sites, completing inter-state travel as needed.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintains DOT logs.
• Provides exceptional customer service and professional conduct at job sites.
• Loads/unloads materials, verifies orders, and secures loads for transport.
• Follows all DOT regulations and safety guidelines, including hours-of-service compliance.
• Delivers and unloads materials accurately and ensures customer satisfaction at delivery.
• Maintains truck cleanliness; assists with warehouse stocking as needed.
