Job summary

Brink’s is seeking a CDL Driver in Richmond, VA. You will safely drive Brink’s vehicles to and from customer sites, guarding assets and ensuring security on premises for our clients.

The role emphasizes vigilance, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols across a fast-paced environment. The position offers local routes with home time, opportunities for training, and a culture that values integrity, reliability, and service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Minimum Class B license.
• Meet all applicable DOT requirements.
• Firearms permit or eligible for licensing.
• Guard card or eligible to obtain one.
• Chauffeur’s license or ability to obtain (some states)
• Pass pre-employment verification, background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Guard and maintain safety of the armored vehicle and liability.
• Guard and maintain safety of your team at all times.
• Maintain radio communication with the Cash Transport Guard and others during pickup/delivery.
• Coordinate with branch/dispatch personnel.
• Load and unload the armored vehicle.
• Complete driving and delivery documentation.
• Report faults during the day’s activity.
• Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
• Guard liability and assets.
