Job summary

SRS Distribution, Inc. is hiring a CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, with no overnight travel. You will inspect vehicles, verify inventory, and work with customers for proper placement of materials.

The job emphasizes safety, accuracy, and responsive service, reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager. Ideal candidates have a CDL A or B with air brakes, a clean driving record, and experience in commercial driving.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes endorsement and clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving with knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Must be 18+ (21 for interstate/hazmat) and pass background checks and drug tests.
• High school diploma or GED required; ability to read English documents.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius with no overnight travel.
• Inspect vehicles, verify inventory, ensure damage-free deliveries.
• Collaborate with customers for material placement and document deliveries with photos.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards.
• Report to Assistant Branch Manager or Operations Manager; may train junior drivers.
• Travel locally and interstate within 200 miles; start and end at home branch the same day.
