Qualifications

• 1 year of commercial driving experience with relevant cargo preferred.
• High School diploma/GED preferred.
• Valid CDL per assigned vehicle type required.
• Successful completion of a road test required.
• Ability to meet FMCSA drug and alcohol clearinghouse requirements.
• Ability to meet all driver qualification requirements per Federal regulations.
• Ability to meet MVR quality criteria per Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles with GVWR over 26,001 lbs to deliver or pick up merchandise or materials.
• May drive 10,000 lb or less vehicles for certain tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and secure cargo for transport.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions safely.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep DVIR records.
• Use an ELD to log daily activities as required by FMCSA.
• Record inspection information and report defects as needed.
• Read bills of lading and manifests to determine details.
