Job summary

RNDC in Savannah, GA is seeking a CDL Driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of wine and spirits to about 19 accounts daily, with potential for up to 30. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, follow DOT hours of service, and verify orders with customers, collecting payment when required.

You should have a High School diploma or GED, a current Class B CDL (A may be required depending on location), DOT medical card, ABC license, and delivery experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferably two years delivery experience; or equivalent.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Current Class B CDL (A may be required depending on location) and valid DOT medical card.
• ABC License as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and adhere to DOT hours.
• Deliver invoiced products to accounts by bottle, case, pallet, or hand-stack.
• Verify receipt with customer, obtain signature, and collect payment if needed.
• Maintain truck security and deliver to about 19 accounts daily (up to 30 when busy).
• Possibly work with one or more helpers; provide route feedback to management.
• Utilize HOS software or driver monitoring programs as needed.
