Job summary

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is seeking a CDL Driver in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on timely, safe product delivery to customers, with the possibility of collecting non-cash payments and handling routine customer interactions.

Responsibilities include performing pre/post-trip inspections, delivering to numerous accounts, verifying orders, ensuring security of the vehicle, and potentially working with helpers. Occasional overnight routes may exist.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferably two years delivery experience.
• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid CDL license (Class B or higher).
• Must obtain DOT medical certification and file with state DMV.
• ABC license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and log any defects.
• Possible overnight/dedicated routes.
• Deliver invoiced products to accounts and obtain signatures; collect payments if needed.
• Verify correct orders with customers and ensure proper invoicing.
• Maintain truck security at all times.
• Deliver to approximately 19 accounts daily; up to 30 during peak activity.
• Cover about 160 miles daily; 200–300 miles when busy or on out-of-town routes.
• May work with one or more helpers.
• Provide route feedback to transportation management.
• May use a smartphone for HOS software or driver monitoring.
