Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving is hiring non-CDL drivers in the Manhattan, KS area. The role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods with a company truck. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record and can comply with our zero-tolerance drug policy.

This position offers opportunities to lead crews, interact with customers daily, and grow within the company. Applicants should be able to travel regionally, operate a box truck, and meet deadlines while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or GED (preferred Real ID DL).
• Must be willing to travel locally, intrastate and/or interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck and safely load/unload shipments.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliant record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off of truck.
• Inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for forward movement via interstate commerce.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck and equipment.
• Maintain required documentation for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
