Job summary

Coleman Worldwide Moving has immediate openings for CDL driving positions in the Baltimore area. This full-service moving company role involves loading, transporting, and unloading household goods, with opportunities to lead moving crews and interact with customers daily.

Compensation ranges from $25 to $28 per hour, depending on experience. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, can comply with our zero-tolerance drug policy, and are willing to travel locally to interstate routes.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to travel locally, intrastate and interstate.
• Ability to operate a box truck or tractor trailer (as per CDL qualification).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable and able to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Real ID compliant ID or DL.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods using a company truck.
• Lead the crew in loading shipment onto/off of truck.
• May inspect shipment prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping.
• Perform accurate inventory of shipment.
• Assist in loading trucks/containers for interstate movement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck and equipment.
• Maintain documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations.
• Lift and carry household goods between residence and vehicle.
• Other duties as assigned.
