Job summary

Arnold Lumber Company is seeking an experienced CDL Driver to join our Bristol, RI team and ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites. You will operate safely, verify loads, and communicate with customers and supervisors to maintain service excellence.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, manage load security, and support yard and warehouse activities while adhering to company procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

CDL A or B license and health card required.
Must be insurable for driving and have a clean DMV record.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Six months of driving experience.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver materials to job sites as assigned, maintaining clear communication with customers, supervisors, and team members.
Verify product accuracy, quality, and load counts; organize and secure all loads for safe transport.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs, vehicle issues, or property damage to the dispatcher or mechanic.
Support yard and warehouse operations by assisting with loading/unloading, maintaining cleanliness, and processing returned materials for credit.
Follow all operational procedures, including invoicing, credits, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
