Job summary

Universal Supply Co., a division of US LBM Holdings, LLC, is seeking a CDL Driver I to transport materials to job sites and locations across multiple states. You will perform DOT inspections, manage logs, and ensure accurate orders while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, securing loads, and maintaining the vehicle. Requires a Class A or B CDL, clean driving record, and familiarity with lumber and building materials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
• 1–2 years CDL experience preferred.
• Experience transporting lumber and building materials required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver to active construction sites and completed locations; occasional inter-state travel.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections for safety and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service; communicate professionally with clients and team.
• Verify orders, secure loads, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
• Adhere to DOT regulations, logs, and hours-of-service requirements.
• Deliver and unload materials and assist in unloadings as needed.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and organize warehouse inventory as needed.
