Job summary

Case Farms in Louisiana is seeking a dependable tractor-trailer driver holding a valid CDL A to join our shipping team. You will ensure compliance with DOT rules, perform and document pre-trip inspections, and assist with loading and unloading poultry loads with care and efficiency.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean truck, reporting maintenance issues to your supervisor, and adhering to all safety policies and federal/state laws.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with 1-year verifiable satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation, State and Federal Laws.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
• Previous live poultry tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Follow Department of Transportation, State and Federal laws, and company safety policies and programs.
• Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Sit and drive for up to 10 hours, and climb in and out of the truck cab throughout the shift.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.

• Work nights, weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
