Job summary

Penn Line Service, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver to operate various commercial motor vehicles and perform heavy labor tasks as needed. The role requires a Class A or B CDL, physical stamina, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Travel and overnight stays may be required, with pre-employment drug screening and a clean driving record. Hours vary with overtime and rain make-up days. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided; driving is a portion of the job, with substantial labor

• Driving duties are a minor portion; labor tasks are a major part of the role.
• Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks, flat beds, low boys, and other CMVs as assigned.
• Haul equipment between work sites and transport materials.
• Assist with loading/unloading and other labor tasks as required.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations during all operations.

Job description

Job Description: A CDL Driver must have a class \"A\" or \"B\" CDL license. A CDL Driver may operate straight trucks, flat beds, low boy, tool truck, and other commercial motor vehicles and miscellaneous equipment.

Drivers may haul equipment between work sites and transport work materials. Prior driving experience is a definite plus. Drivers will also be required to participate with laborer duties. Individuals must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. consistently throughout the work day. Laborer duties are physically demanding and may include unloading & loading materials; traffic control duties, etc. (Note: Driving duties are only a minor portion of the job -majority of the job is labor related duties) Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to apply, must have a good driving record, and be able to pass a pre employment drug screen.

Work Schedule: Work schedule varies. Candidate must be available for Over-time and rain make-up days. Ability to stay out of town overnight is required.

Rate of Pay: Depends on skill & experience. We pay weekly. Excellent Benefits Packages

Work Area: MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL – We do provide some transportation assistance as well and per diem for out of town stays.
