Job summary

Railserve is hiring dependable, safety-focused CDL Drivers in Austin, TX to support rail construction and operations projects. This full-time role involves transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites, operating a Class A commercial vehicle, and assisting field teams while maintaining DOT compliance and safety.

Candidates must have a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and the ability to travel and stay overnight.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment preferred.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight.
  • Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A truck hauling equipment on flatbed and lowboy trailers.
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic maintenance.
  • Load, secure, and unload equipment and materials safely.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety policies.

This is a full-time, hands-on role responsible for transporting equipment, materials, and tools to job sites while supporting field operations.In this role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle, assist with loading and unloading equipment, and support field teams as needed.
