Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks a professional CDL driver to operate front, side, or rear-end load trucks, transporting waste to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities. The role includes residential, commercial, and roll-off duties with emphasis on safe backing maneuvers and on-time pickups.

Qualifications

• One year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and DVIRs.
• Notify manager of incidents, safety issues, or service interruptions.
• Ensure complete dumps of receptacles and leave the site clean and safe.
• Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation.
