Job summary

Waste Management in Greencastle, PA is seeking CDL drivers to operate heavy‑duty trucks on residential, commercial and roll‑off routes. You will perform pre‑trip inspections, back up in tight spaces, and ensure containers are collected and left clean, while adhering to Safety and DOT requirements.

This full‑time role requires at least 18 years old, 1 year CDL experience with air‑brake endorsements (Class A or B). WM offers strong benefits, ongoing training, and room for career growth.

Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and speaking English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs and complete records.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicle per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks.
• Reports unsafe situations to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Attends required training and briefings.
• Improves route efficiencies with Operations Manager.
• Notifies of incidents, injuries, or service interruptions.
• Communicates customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch.
• Dumps receptacles completely and leaves the location clean.
