Job summary

QXO, a leading distributor and installer of building products in Rosemead, CA, is seeking CDL drivers to load, transport, and unload materials with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform touch-freight tasks, loading and unloading products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the load against orders.
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and wear PPE as required.
