Roux Associates, Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking an experienced CDL driver for dump truck operations in support of environmental remediation projects across Western New York.

This full-time position requires a clean CDL A or B license and practical experience driving heavy trucks. You will work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends or overtime, and join a team that emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Valid and clean driver’s license; CDL Class A or B required.
• Preferred 2 years of dump truck driving experience.
• Experience with heavy equipment ( excavator, backhoe, loader, etc.).
• High School or Associates technical degree.
• English communication skills required (verbal & written).
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Drive/operate a dump truck for remediation projects across Western and Central New York.
• Support environmental projects and facilities with safe, reliable transport.
• Follow safety practices and site procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Occasional weekends/overtime as needed; work in a team environment.

Roux Associates, Inc. provides integrated environmental services for investigation, remediation, and redevelopment of environmentally challenged properties throughout Western New York from our Buffalo and Rochester, New York offices.
We seek an experienced CDL Class A or B licensed driver for dump truck operations in support of our environmental remediation projects and facilities located throughout western and central New York. Position Requirements

• Valid and clean driver’s license. CDL Class A or B license required.
• Preferred 2 years of dump truck driving experience.
• Experience running heavy equipment such as excavator backhoe, loader, grader, scraper, bulldozer, skid steer, tractor, and other pieces of heavy equipment.
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Self-motivated and a self-starter after basic training.
• High School or Associates technical degree.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with basic Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  
• Drive/Operate a dump truck in support of environmental remediation projects and facilities located throughout western and central New York.
• Model and promote good safety practices.
• Attentive to health & safety regulations, company/jobsite requirements and project details, schedule and budget.
• Be available to work weekends and overtime occasionally as needed.
• Work cooperatively with others.

Physical Demands/Work Environment Conditions

• Pass a company paid baseline and periodic health physical and drug screening, as well as motor vehicle record check, as required.

• Walk up and down steeply sloped terrain.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Hourly Salary Range: $28 - $32. This range is based on what Roux in good faith believes it might pay at the time of posting for this position and for this geographic location. Actual compensation may vary based on job-related factors such as relevant work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications, skill sets, and internal equity.
