Job summary

We are seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Driver to support our heavy civil construction operations in the Mid-Atlantic. The ideal candidate will transport heavy equipment and materials to and from job sites and adhere to DOT regulations and site protocols.

The role requires operating Class A or B vehicles, performing inspections, and coordinating with field crews. Strong safety focus and flexibility with hours are essential for success.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with Tanker Endorsement required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety rules.
• Safety-focused and able to work flexible hours including early mornings and some weekends.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical labor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A or B commercial vehicles (dump trucks, lowboys, flatbeds) to transport materials.
• Load and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation laws.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with field crews and project managers.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation.
