S&B USA Construction in the Mid-Atlantic region seeks a dependable CDL Driver to support our heavy civil operations in Virginia. The role involves transporting construction materials and equipment between job sites in a safety‑conscious, DOT‑compliant manner. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, log driving hours, and coordinate with field crews. Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement and at least two years of experience are required; Hazmat is a plus.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A or B license, with Tanker Endorsement.
Minimum of 2 years experience driving commercial vehicles in a construction environment.
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor.
Flexible hours including early mornings and some weekends.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain Class A or B commercial vehicles to transport construction materials and equipment.
Load and unload materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
Collaborate with field crews and project managers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation.
