Northrop Grumman is seeking a Driver to support its organization in Linthicum, Maryland. The role demands a valid CDL A with HazMat endorsement, a clean driving record, and a willingness to operate specialized equipment across multiple sites.

You will coordinate with dispatch, maintain logs and safety gear, and ensure all loads are secured and delivered per customer requirements. This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must have a valid state-issued drivers license with CDL A endorsement and be able to demonstrate skills via interview.
• Experience driving commercial vehicles (straight truck or tractor) required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret clearance and HazMat endorsement.

Mansioni

• Familiarize with routes, GVW, bed height, and vehicle specs per customer instructions.
• Operate lift gate and maintain equipment readiness and safety gear in truck.
• Keep up-to-date emergency guide book, local map, and safety equipment (triangles, spill kit, extinguisher).
• Coordinate with dispatch to cover all stops and log mileage, times, and stops accurately.
• Load/unload trucks with proper blocking/bracing and handle materials safely.
• Maintain logs, report discrepancies, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
