Job summary

24hr-Safety is seeking an experienced CDL A/Haz-MAT driver to load, deliver, and pickup PPE and related equipment from local sites. A Haz-Mat endorsement and clean driving record are required.

This full-time, on-site role requires DOT compliance, strong customer service, and willingness to pass background checks. Overtime/weekend hours may be necessary, with site-entry requirements at customer facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years Class A CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement.
• Current TWIC card.
• Must be age 30 or older.
• Clean 10-year driving record (no infractions or accidents).
• Ability to pass background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick-up PPE, breathing air and bottle trailers from designated sites.
• Provide courteous customer relations and maintain safe, on-time deliveries/pick-ups.
• Serve as Air Shop Technician: inspection, cleaning, servicing, and testing of equipment.
• Upgrade skills to handle new assignments (SOP training).
• Refuse unsafe tasks and report incidents to management.
• Respond safely and urgently to work requests from Operations Dispatcher.
• Inspect equipment for damage and wear; report findings to Dispatcher.
• Follow site safety and pre-trip checklists for each vehicle or trailer.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and submitted to the Dispatcher.
• Deliver to customer locations and obtain necessary signatures and records.
• Work safely and courteously at all times.
