Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 1 year+ professional driving experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class B or C with clean record.
• Must pass DOT physical and medical card.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Defensive Driving Course completion prior to driving.
• Passenger or airbrake endorsement may be required.
• Experience driving in all weather conditions.
• Knowledge of safety and SDS basics.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle inspection before and after routes.
• Ensure clean, safe, and pleasant vehicle environment.
• Operate vehicles under 26,000 lb GVW transporting passengers or goods.
• Drive defensively and provide excellent guest service.
• Load and unload equipment; assist with luggage up to 80 lb.
• Maintain vehicle logs and rider information.
• Coordinate with Transportation Office for requests.
• Perform occasional warehouse driving and maintenance checks.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
• May assist with clerical duties as needed.
