Job summary

Ridout Lumber and Meek's in Arkansas is seeking a CDL Driver I to safely transport materials to job sites and other locations. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and assist in loading and unloading lumber and building materials.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Class A or B CDL, and 1–2 years of CDL experience with flat beds or tractor trailers; excellent customer service and DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates Class A or B commercial vehicles in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
• Deliveries to active construction sites and completed locations; inter-state travel may be required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections per regulations.
• Maintains logs for hours of service and reporting requirements.
• Loads, unloads, and secures materials; verifies orders before departure and on delivery.
