Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver/Construction Laborer and Geotechnical Drill Helper for our Woodbine, MD office.

You will load, transport, and unload drilling equipment and assist with field geotechnical operations, including soil nails, underpinning, micropiles, and grouting. The role requires a valid CDL Class A, ability to pass screenings, physical fitness, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with a clean driving record.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screenings.
• Experience operating drilling/construction equipment to load for transport and unload.
• Reliable, motivated, strong work ethic.
• Good mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Able to work in all weather and wear safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload drilling/construction equipment.
• Assist geotechnical drilling operations and field work as needed.
• Support installation of excavation support systems and deep foundations.
