Burford’s Construction LLC seeks a CDL Driver to join our field team supporting power grid maintenance and construction projects. This entry-level role requires safe operation, physical endurance, and willingness to travel as needed.

You will assist line-workers, participate in storm restoration, and continually develop technical and leadership skills in a non-union setting. Commitment to safety and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Possess a Commercial Driver’s License – Class A Preferred.
• Able to read/write and communicate effectively.
• Able to travel long distances on short notice.
• Willing to work extended periods in various locations.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Secure the safety of yourself and others.
• Assist fellow line-workers in meeting project objectives.
• Join storm restoration efforts in times of need.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a professional manner.
• Continue training to improve technical and leadership skills.
• Readily join overhead powerline construction activities.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
