Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Logistics Driver to operate tractor-trailers on intrastate and interstate routes, picking up loads and delivering to PFG warehouses. You will ensure timely pickups and accurate loading while adhering to DOT safety rules and company policies.

Responsibilities include paperwork inspections, route coordination, and clear communication with supervisors. The role may involve local or long-haul assignments with layovers and requires professional, courteous behavior

Qualifications

• CDL with valid medical certification and DOT compliance.
• 2–4 years driving experience in a logistics role.
• Experience in foodservice distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer on intrastate/interstate routes to pick up loads and deliver to PFG warehouses.
• Ensure timely pick-ups, correct product, and compliance with DOT safety regulations.
• Perform load/paperwork inspections: counts, invoices, quality checks and related items.
• Travel to supplier/PFG locations; routes may be local or over-the-road with layovers.
• Regularly communicate with supervisor about route, load, and schedule changes.
• At end of shift, secure equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.
