Job summary

Vermont Foodbank, part of Feeding America, is seeking an Operations Associate – CDL Driver to join our Barre, VT team. You will safely operate Foodbank vehicles on local routes, load/unload, and collaborate with volunteers, staff and cross-functional teams to deliver food and services to Vermont communities.

Ideal candidates hold a Class B CDL (we may consider providing CDL), are comfortable with physical tasks, and are dedicated to equitable food access.

Qualifications

• Experience driving large straight/semi-trucks in a food-related setting or similar environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and DOT medical card preferred/required.
• 3-year motor vehicle report with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Foodbank vehicles on local routes in Vermont, home daily.
• Load/unload and distribute food products with volunteers and staff.
• Engage with community members from diverse backgrounds; role matters.
• Support warehouse logistics, product storage, and equipment movement.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Facilities and Community Impact teams.
