Job summary

Border States Industries, Inc. in Big Spring, TX is seeking a CDL Driver to support warehouse operations and delivery services. You will deliver materials to customer sites and branch locations, keep a clean vehicle, and maintain logs and vehicle inspections.

You will assist with loading/unloading and provide excellent customer service. The role requires a valid CDL (A or B), a current medical certificate, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2-year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior warehouse distribution experience including forklift operation.
• Minimum age 21.
• Clean driving record essential.
• Valid Class A or B CDL with current medical certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• SAP knowledge a plus.
• Pole Drivers must be familiar with state oversize load permits.

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery of material to customer sites or branch locations.
• Maintains delivery vehicle in clean, good working condition and monitors maintenance and mileage data.
• Maintains daily driver logs andDVIRs.
• Completes truck summary and driver’s log and other backup detail daily.
• Complies with local, state, and federal DOT regulations and Border States policies.
• Understands routes and coordinates deliveries with our own trucks.
• Loads and unloads material at branch and customer locations.
• Supports the operation functions of the warehouse.
