This is a 40 plus hour-a-week position with the possibility of weekends and overnight travel. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing company.

Position Overview

As a Dump Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating and maneuvering heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials such as soil, gravel, rocks, or other materials to and from construction sites, quarries, or waste disposal facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of road safety regulations and possess excellent driving skills to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of materials.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safely operate and drive dump trucks in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  2. Transport materials to and from construction sites, quarries, or waste disposal facilities.
  3. Load and unload materials onto the truck bed using appropriate equipment or manual labor.
  4. Ensure that materials are securely fastened and properly balanced on the truck bed to prevent spills or accidents during transit.
  5. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safe operation and report any mechanical issues or defects to the appropriate personnel.
  6. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and materials transported.
  7. Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues that may arise during the course of work.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both inside the truck cab and on the truck bed.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operations of the company.
Qualifications
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
