Job summary

Recology Vallejo in Vallejo, CA seeks a vehicle operator to safely and efficiently run the assigned truck, perform pre-trip inspections, and uphold strong customer relations across service areas.

The role covers a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00am to 2:30pm with occasional Saturday shifts. Candidates must hold a valid CDL, understand waste regulations, and be prepared to work in varying weather while promoting Waste Zero principles.

Qualifications

• One year of commercial driving experience (two years preferred).
• Knowledge of safety regulations and waste regulations.
• Current CDL and a valid medical card.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections on the vehicle.
• Operate the vehicle in assigned service areas in a timely, safe manner.
• Load materials per procedures and report violations.
• Maintain good customer relations and safety compliance across service areas.
