Job summary

Recology in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a reliable CDL driver to operate assigned vehicles with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. Qualifications

• One year of commercial driving experience; two years preferred.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and waste regulations.
• Current commercial driver's license and valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle.
• Ensure safety procedures are consistently applied during operation.
• Operate the vehicle in all assigned service areas in a timely and efficient manner.
• Load materials according to procedures and report violations to supervisor.
• Ensure hazardous materials are not accepted and stay within legal load limits.
• Report accidents or safety violations promptly to the appropriate authority.
• Support good customer relations and positively influence community perception.
