GROWMARK FS is headquartered in Milford, Delaware, with branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. GROWMARK FS operates in seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application services. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Operates commercial sprayers or floaters to apply crop inputs to producer fields. Operates and maintains trucks (single or tandem axle, multi-axle) for the delivery and pickup of agronomy and energy products, as well as other equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Applies crop production inputs to fields and crops according to recommended rates and procedures, following all pesticide labels.
• Records application data in compliance with regulations and standards.
• Sets up and operates material handling, blending, storage, transport, and application equipment for blending and delivery of products.
• Prepares and blends products according to recommended rates and procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and safely operates sprayers, floaters, trucks, and other equipment to meet company and DOT standards.
• Performs daily safety checks of vehicles and equipment, including pre-trip inspections.
• Maintains a clean truck to ensure a professional appearance and follows the preventative maintenance program.
• Loads and unloads containers, pallets, or materials safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and inventory control.
• Ensures all products are accounted for with proper documentation such as invoices or delivery tickets.
• Completes all necessary paperwork, including logbooks, cargo records, and other documentation.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintains, repairs, and services equipment, vehicles, and structures as needed.
• Maintains company equipment according to standards and adheres to the company's professional image policies.
• Collects and records soil sample information following proper procedures.
• Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Possesses essential skills including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, and decision-making.
• Must have or obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements, a clean driving record, and a valid medical card.
• Must hold or be able to obtain pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications as required by state.
• Willing to work extended hours as needed, with exposure to various weather conditions, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, and at heights. Capable of lifting 51-70 lbs.
• Willing to participate in required training related to policies, procedures, and job-specific skills.
