Job summary

Pave America is seeking a reliable CDL Driver to transport materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites and yards. The driver must have a valid CDL, a clean driving record, and experience operating commercial vehicles in construction or similar environments.

The role requires safe loading/unloading, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, and strict adherence to DOT regulations. Occasional overtime and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks using proper methods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip documentation.
• Secure loads with chains, binders, tarps, and straps.
• Follow delivery schedules and dispatcher instructions.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete.
