Job summary

Contractor General is seeking a Delivery Driver to ensure safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries to contractor jobsites in Columbia, MO. You will be the last face a project sees before work begins, showing up with professionalism, safety, and clear communication with dispatch and customers.

The role requires a valid CDL A or B, a clean MVR, and the ability to lift heavy items while navigating active construction sites. Onsite work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with CDL A or B preferred; clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate flatbed trucks and secure loads.
• Physical capability to lift 75+ lbs and work on active sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow dispatch schedules with minimal supervision.
• Basic mechanical awareness for vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and transport materials per daily delivery schedule.
• Deliver materials safely to drop locations on active construction sites.
• Obtain signatures and document delivery completion.
• Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers about timing and access.
• Operate trucks in compliance with DOT regulations and complete inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of truck and loading areas.
• Represent Contractor General professionally on jobsite visits.
