Job summary

Mail Management Services, Inc. is seeking a Full Time CDL A truck driver to support our postal service commitments. The role requires at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years, a valid CDL A and DOT medical card, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

You will drive on a Monday–Saturday schedule and can earn regular hourly pay plus Health & Wellness pay. Employees enjoy PTO after one year, 11 paid federal holidays, paid orientation, and benefits after 30 days for

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL A license and valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer experience in last 5 years.
• Must be 23 years or older and meet driving standards with clean MVR.
• Pre-employment USPS and federal screenings required.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Be punctual and arrive on time for every shift.
• Inspect truck before, during, and after trips (DVIR) and report issues to operations.
• Complete daily runs within company policies and federal/state regulations.
• Report delays affecting on-time postal facility arrivals.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday – 1:00 AM to 9:45 AM

*$26.30 in Regular Hourly Pay+ $5.36 in Health & Wellness Pay

(paid up to 40 hours per week) Health & Wellness Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance premiums. Health & Wellness pay is added to your paycheck no matter if you choose insurance or not.

Mail Management Services is hiring a Full Time CDL A truck driver to serve our mission of providing reliable service for customers.

Job Requirements:

• A minimum of at least 1 year of driving tractor-trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Must be at least 23 years of age or older.
• Must meet company driving standards and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record in accordance with applicable law.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all USPS and federally required pre-employment screenings.
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting and pushing/pulling wheeled carts up to 100lbs**
• Must pass a DOT Physical and Pre-employment drug test (company paid)
• Proficient in basic computer skills

** Drivers may be required to load, unload, sort, and handle cargo to and from trailers by hand or by use of mechanical equipment such as carts or a pallet jack. The driver must be able to bend, stoop, twist, climb and move freely in the handling of cargo that may weigh more than 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift from 60 – 100 pounds. The driver must be able to lift 60 pounds over the head and must be able to exert a minimum of 70 pounds pull pressure on the 5th wheel lock and trailer tandem release.The driver must be able to safely maneuver a cart weighing up to 500 pounds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drivers must arrive on time daily.
• Drivers must inspect the truck before, during, and after the run for problems. (pre-trip/post-trip) (DVIR) Notify the local operations manager of any issues.
• Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles.
• Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on-time arrival at postal facilities.
