• Schedule: Sunday/Monday off; 5-day work week Tuesday-Saturday; Home every night; No OTR

Position Purpose:

Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the food supply chain. They ensure products arrive on time and in good condition, and serve as the face of our company, building lasting customer relationships.

The Driver, CDL-B, is responsible for operating tractor trailers or straight trucks on local, intrastate, interstate, shuttle, and overnight routes, delivering food and related products safely and timely, adhering to DOT regulations. The role involves professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers, and performing duties to best serve the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing safety checks (pre/post trip inspections) per DOT standards
• Reporting safety issues and repairs
• Following DOT regulations and safe driving policies
• Inspecting freight loads for security and accuracy
• Completing required paperwork accurately
• Driving to and delivering orders according to schedule
• Unloading products and obtaining customer signatures
• Handling customer payments where required
• Securing trailers and equipment
• Performing damage checks and reporting issues
• Completing daily logs and housekeeping duties
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 12 months commercial driving experience
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Valid CDL-B license
• Must be 21+ years old
• Meet all licensing and certification requirements
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass drug test, background check, and road test
• Valid DOT health card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds
