Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is hiring a delivery driver to load, transport, and unload materials to customer sites across Hampton Roads. You will verify deliveries, assist with returns, and perform daily vehicle inspections in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires CDL-A, up to 50 lb lifts, and strong customer service. Overtime and potential for growth are available within a large, national plumbing and industrial supplier network.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial driving experience or preference for CDL A.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer-focused approach.
• Familiarity with basic technology (iPads) and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers, load/unload with pallet jack or dolly.
• Process returns and verify product for credits.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report issues to supervisor.
• Follow safety policies and PPE usage.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, stocking and order preparation.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Pay: Expected to start at $22 per hour or more based on experience

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of commercial driving preferred.
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.

Pay Range

• - $19.26
• - $30.76
• - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
• - The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
