Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC, is seeking a CDL driver for an on-site role in Melbourne, FL. You will deliver materials to customers, load and unload with pallet jacks, and support warehouse operations. Schedule is Monday–Friday 6:30am–3:30pm; starting pay is $22 per hour based on experience.

Must hold a valid CDL and DOT medical card, be at least 21, and comply with DOT regulations. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain safety standards; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load/unload and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage and harness constraints.
