Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is hiring an onsite delivery driver in Tamarac, FL. The role involves delivering materials to customers, pulling and stocking orders, and performing pre- and post-trip inspections.

A valid CDL and DOT medical card are required, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate iPads for field tasks. The schedule is Monday–Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm with potential overtime. Competitive benefits, retirement plan, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of PPE.
