Qualifications

Role Overview

This position involves operating heavy and light-duty trucks, including vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and tankers, to support environmental response, hazardous waste cleanup, and site remediation activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in emergency response operations, conduct soil excavation, waste removal, drum handling, and tank cleaning.
• Operate and maintain environmental response equipment, set up containment zones, and perform decontamination procedures.
• Complete safety documentation, follow OSHA, EPA, and company protocols, and ensure DOT and EPA compliance when transporting waste.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; valid CDL Class A license with preferred Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1–2 years of CDL driving experience with a clean record; environmental or industrial field experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, OSHA standards, and environmental response procedures; mechanical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital safety tools.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions while wearing PPE.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, and participate in emergency response rotations.
