Job summary

Environmental Restoration is seeking a skilled CDL Truck Driver to join its Environmental Field Service Team in Sterling Heights, MI. The role supports industrial and commercial clients across oil & gas, chemical, and marine sectors, working with local, state, and federal agencies.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently or as part of a crew, and willing to travel. The position involves field service and emergency response, PPE usage, and strict adherence to

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B license.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company motor vehicle and insurance requirements.
• Willingness to work variable hours with occasional overnight travel.
• Physically capable of working in demanding conditions, including adverse weather and hazardous environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on field support as required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements (preferred).
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or willingness to obtain; training provided).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL vehicles such as vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, and support equipment during emergency and non-emergency response operations.
• Load, transport, and unload hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs, shipping papers, and waste manifests.
• Assist emergency response and field teams with containment, cleanup, decontamination, and equipment setup.
• Use appropriate PPE and strictly follow site-specific health and safety plans.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.

About the Role
