Now Hiring: CDL Driver (Class A)

We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites and company yards, playing a vital role in keeping our paving operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate commercial vehicles (e.g., dump truck, flatbed, lowboy, or trailer) to transport materials and equipment
  • Load and unload trucks using proper methods to prevent shifting, damage, or injury
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation
  • Follow delivery schedules, GPS directions, and instructions from dispatch or supervisors
  • Secure loads using chains, binders, tarps, or straps as needed
  • Comply with all DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations
  • Assist crews with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete (as needed)
  • Report any mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
  • 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred
  • Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus
  • Familiarity with load securement, tie‑down procedures, and safe operating practices
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading when required
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
