Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a CDL Driver (Class A) in Lansing, MI for a permanent onsite role. You will safely deliver materials to customers, inspect equipment, and ensure all DOT regulations and safety standards are followed.

You will manage cargo security, accurate documentation, and provide professional customer service throughout the delivery process. Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 1–3 years CMV driving experience, ability to pass MVR, drug screen, PSP, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks, and

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Class A CDL.
• 1–3 years of commercial motor vehicle driving experience.
• Must have a clean MVR and pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate issued within the last 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently deliver materials to customers while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Inspect and secure equipment and cargo for transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide professional customer service throughout the delivery process.

Job Description

The CDL Driver (Class A) is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering materials to customers while ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. This role supports transportation operations by inspecting equipment, securing cargo, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing professional customer service throughout the delivery process. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to operate equipment and handle materials in a fast-paced delivery environment.

Essential Skills

• Possession of a current and valid Class A CDL.
• One to three years of recent commercial motor vehicle driving experience.
• Ability to pass a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Ability to pass a satisfactory pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to pass a satisfactory PSP (Pre-Employment Screening Program) report.
• Acceptable DOT-compliant employment verification(s).
• Acceptable FMCSA Clearinghouse report.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate issued within the last 90 days, or ability to renew prior to hire.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $60320.00/yr.
