Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a CDL Truck Driver to operate rear, front, side, and roll-off trucks, providing safe, efficient waste removal on designated routes with strong customer service. Typical schedule Mon–Fri, with opportunities for merit increases and bonuses through the Career Pathways program.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B, HS diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and US work eligibility. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; must be at least 18; valid CDL Class A or B; eligible to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post trip inspections and maintains truck appearance per Casella safety standards.
• Safely operates rear load, front load, side load and roll off trucks on streets, sites and customer locations.
• Delivers courteous, prompt service and communicates professionally with customers.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Empties receptacles, cleans spill areas, and follows route sheets for one Line of Business.
• Attends training, notifies dispatch of service interruptions, and participates in safety programs.
