Job summary

Stone Group Of Companies is seeking a local CDL Driver/Boom Operator at our Tacoma branch. You will be responsible for safe handling and delivery of construction materials to local job sites using an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane, with assistance from Material Stockers.

Responsibilities include safe operation of the delivery vehicle and crane, off-loading materials, accurate placement at sites, and inventory control, with additional yard duties as needed.

We are seeking a local CDL Driver/Boom Operator at our Tacoma branch. As a CDL Driver/Boom Operator you will be responsible for the safe handling and delivery of construction materials to local job sites using an Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane and the assistance of CWallA Material Stockers.

Responsibilities of a Boom Truck Operator Include:

• Safe and legal operation of commercial delivery vehicle and attached Articulating Boom Loader (ABL) Crane
• Physically handling materials with the assistance of a Material Stocker
• Safe delivery and off-loading of commercial construction materials
• Participating in the accurate and orderly placement of delivered material at jobsites
• Continuously abiding by traffic laws and regulatory agency guidelines
• Various yard duties between deliveries including but not limitedto, shipping, receiving and filling customer orders
• Inventory control

Qualifications for a Boom Truck Operator Include:

• Valid Class A CDL license
• Proven boom truck and forklift experience
• Ability to consistently lift and carry construction materials
• Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts

NCCCO- ABL certification is preferred, but not required.
